House of Truth Ministries is about sharing the Gospel in various venues.

AT the Corn Festival, we gave out hundreds of tracts. There was a young lady who claimed to be a Christian, and shared that she is planning to a marry a Muslim man. The Muslim man, we were told by the Christian lady, that he is telling her that they believe in the same God. The young lady in the above picture, Rachel, has a lot of knowledge in witnessing to Muslims. Rachel was able to explain the difference to the Christian lady. It was our God’s perfect timing to bring the two young ladies together. We gave the Christian lady several books the next day.

The verses below are from the Jehovah’s Witnesses 2013 Bible. These verses can be used to share with JW’s regarding being saved.

How is man going to enter God’s kingdom and be saved? By man’s works, (i.e., effort and obedience)? No!

Romans 3:20 20 Therefore, no one will be declared righteous before him by works of law, for by law comes the accurate knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:27-28 27 Where, then, is the boasting? There is no place for it. Through what law? That of works? No indeed, but through the law of faith. 28 For we consider that a man is declared righteous by faith apart from works of law.

Romans 4:2-8 2 For instance, if Abraham was declared righteous as a result of works, he would have reason to boast, but not with God. 3 For what does the scripture say? “Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the man who works, his pay is not counted as an undeserved kindness but as something owed to him. 5 On the other hand, to the man who does not work but puts faith in the One who declares the ungodly one righteous, his faith is counted as righteousness. 6 Just as David also speaks of the happiness of the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: 7 “Happy are those whose lawless deeds have been pardoned and whose sins have been covered; 8 happy is the man whose sin Jehovah will by no means take into account.

Romans 9:10-11 10 Not only then but also when Rebekah conceived twins from the one man, Isaac our forefather; 11 for when they had not yet been born and had not practiced anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose respecting the choosing might continue dependent, not on works, but on the One who calls..

Romans 9:31-33 31 But Israel, although pursuing a law of righteousness, did not attain to that law. 32 For what reason? Because they pursued it, not by faith, but as by works. They stumbled over the “stone of stumbling”; 33 as it is written: “Look! I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of oﬀense, but the one who rests his faith on it will not be disappointed.”

Romans 10:2-4 2 For I bear them (i.e., Israel) witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to accurate knowledge. 3 For because of not knowing the righteousness of God but seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the Law, so that everyone exercising faith may have righteousness (a better translation is – “For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”).

Romans 11:6 6 Now if it is by undeserved kindness, it is no longer through works; otherwise, the undeserved kindness would no longer be undeserved kindness.

Gal. 2:16 16 recognize that a man is declared righteous, not by works of law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. So we have put our faith in Christ Jesus, so that we may be declared righteous by faith in Christ and not by works of law, for no one will be declared righteous by works of law.

Gal. 3:2,5 2 This one thing I want to ask you: Did you receive the spirit through works of law or because of faith in what you heard?... 5 Therefore, does the one who supplies you the spirit and performs powerful works among you do it because of your works of law or because of your faith in what you heard?

Ephesians 2:8-9 8 By this undeserved kindness you have been saved through faith, and this is not of your own doing; rather, it is God’s gift. 9 No, it is not a result of works, so that no one should have grounds for boasting.

2 Timothy 1:9 9 He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our works, but because of his own purpose and undeserved kindness. This was given to us in connection with Christ Jesus before times long ago…

Titus 3:4-5 4 However, when the kindness of our Savior, God, and his love for mankind were manifested 5 (not because of any righteous works we had done, but because of his own mercy), he saved us by means of the bath that brought us to life and by making us new by holy spirit.
