Please pray for our college outreaches this coming semester.
We have $600.00 left to raise so we can pay up front for the Fullerton Farmers Market. Unless we raise the remaining amount, we plan on participating for part of the season.

There was an outreach to a Mosque. We handed out tracts and held signs. There was a couple of brief conversations. The verses on the sign are Romans 3;23; 6:23; 10:9.

Frank: Hello Columbo
Columbo: Frank, did you read 1 John 5:9-13?
Frank: Yes.
Columbo: Which is greater, the witness of men or the witness of God?
Frank: The witness of God.
Columbo: Do you testify of His Son and believe in the Son of God?
Frank: There you go again, Columbo. You and your questions. Of course, I testify of Jesus and believe that He is the Son of God.
Columbo: I am glad to hear that you do, Frank. If someone does not believe God, what does that make Him?
Frank: It makes God a liar.
Columbo: Why?
Frank: It makes God a liar "because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son."
Columbo: Do you believe the record that God gave of his Son?
Frank: Yes.
Columbo: Do you have eternal life?
Frank: Again no. It is in the future Columbo. Did you not read the “Requirements for Exaltation” in Gospel Principals, chapter 47, online?
Columbo: Yes Frank. I have been comparing Gospel Principles to what Heavenly Father and Jesus teach in the Bible. I do not find these Requirements in the Bible. What does John say the record is verse 11”
Frank: Verse 11 says: "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."
Columbo: The Bible says that the record is that God has given us eternal life. This is in the past tense not in the future. Frank, you said you believe the record that God gave of his Son. Yet, you do not have eternal life. It sounds like you have the witness of men not God.
Frank: Why do you believe I have the witness of men?
Columbo: It is because you do not believe the record that God gave us eternal life. You and your church believe it is in the future if you do all the requirements. Therefore, you are calling God...
Frank: a liar. Is that what you are going to say Columbo?
Columbo: What does verse 10 say?
Frank: Verse 10 says: “he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.”
Columbo: It is not what I am saying Frank. It is what the Bible says that is important. Frank, I know that Jesus is very important to you. However, if you do not have the eternal life from verse 11, you do not have the Son according to verse 12. Frank, do you know why John wrote these verses? John gives us the answer in verse 13.
Frank: Verse 13 says: “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
Columbo: I know that I have eternal life because of what the Bible teaches. The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints has a different understanding of eternal life than what the Bible teaches.
Frank: I testify to you Columbo that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God called to restore the Church of Jesus Christ.
Columbo: Frank, please remember that the witness of God is greater than the witness of men. Can we look at John 3:36 and the second blessing of exaltation the next time we meet?
