Our next scheduled booth outreach is on May 7th at the iCure Melanoma 5K in the city of Fullerton. You can find more details on the calendar section on our new website for House of Truth Ministries. The link for the new website is at the end of the newsletter.
At the iCure Melanoma 5K, there will be people who have terminal cancer or know someone with terminal cancer. It is our prayer that we will get the opportunity to share the hope of Christ and His Gospel of salvation with those who come to this event.
I would like to take an opportunity introduce our board of directors. Bruce Herdrich is our Vice President, Virginia Coons is our Secretary and Treasurer, Ed Ortiz is a General Board Member, Pastor Simon Garcia Jr. is our Pastoral Adviser, and I am President.
Bruce is an Engineer and a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton, and his passion is for the subject of Creation versus Evolution. Ed is a retired printer and a member of First Fundamental Bible Church in Whittier, and his passion is for sharing the Gospel. Ed has taught classes on sharing the Gospel at his church. Simon is a retired L.A.P.D officer and Chaplain and he oversees the pastoral care work at First Fundamental Bible Church in Whittier as well as Witnessing in the Neighborhood (W.I.N.), the church's evangelism outreach program. Virginia is a high school teacher who teaches Pilipino language and World History and is a member the Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton. Her passion is to reach the hearts of her students. I am an instructional assistant for special needs kids, I am a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton as well. My passion is finding ways to share the Gospel.
