House of Truth Ministries is about sharing the Gospel in various venues.

House of Truth Ministries is about sharing the Gospel in various venues.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. This letter is to let you know what has happened to Christian Witnesses. I had an opportunity to takeover an inactive, dormant 501c3 ministry called House of Truth Ministries. So now Christian Witnesses is under House of Truth Ministries. The purpose of House of Truth Ministries is to share the gospel in various venues while the main purpose of Christian Witnesses is bring the Gospel to those who are lost in false religious and social systems.
The venues we go to in order to share the Gospel are strip malls, swap meets, door to door tracking, and rented spaces at various sponsored events. This year we have gone to the Santa Monica Promenade. We have set up tables in front of the Nogales Swap Meet. Last March 21st, we had a booth for handing out tracts at the 2015 La Habra 5K/10K Run/Walk.
We will have a booth at the La Habra Corn Festival this year, our thirteenth year in a row. The dates are August 7th, 8th and 9th. The days and times are Friday 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Saturday 11:00 am - 11:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 am - 9:00 pm.
This month’s tract is on how to study the Bible. One of my favorite books on this subject is entitled How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth by Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart. This book discusses the literary forms found in the scriptures and the historical context that helps us have a sound interpretation of the Bible.
If you are led to contribute financially, we do need your assistance in one of two ways: we need regular contributors who see this missionary work as important to help us meet our ministry needs and we need special one-time contributors who can help us with our big projects (like our annual participation at the La Habra Corn Festival).
