Please be in prayer for our upcoming outreaches. We will have a booth at the following events: the La Habra Lion’s Club 66th pancake breakfast, the La Habra Spring extravaganza, and Diamond Bar’s 35th birthday celebration. Include in your prayers that we get a spot at the Fullerton’s Farmers Market.

Why Love I Jehovah: Part 1
There are attributes that are exclusive to Jehovah that set Him apart from other gods. These attributes give me reasons to love Jehovah. Jehovah’s attributes give me peace and comfort.
One of Jehovah attributes is that He claims to be the only God. Isaiah 43:10 says, “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” Was there a God formed before Jehovah? No! Was there a God formed after Jehovah? No! Jehovah also says there is not even a God beside Him (Isaiah 44:8; 45:6).
Another claim Jehovah makes about Himself in Isaiah 41:4; 44:6 and 48:12 is that He is the First and the last. Jehovah is also called Alpha and Omega and the Beginning and the End in Revelations 1:8 and 21:6. At the end of my life, I will have to face Jehovah. I suppose this is why Jehovah says in Isaiah 45:23, “That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” Jehovah is both Almighty and mighty (Revelations 1:8; 4:8 and Isaiah 10:21).
I find peace in Jehovah because He is the creator. He alone created everything by his own hand. Isaiah 40:12,22,26; 44:24; 48:13 declares that Jehovah alone is the creator. Because Jehovah claims to be the only creator, He can claim to be the only savior (Isaiah 43:11; 45:21; 1 Timothy 1:1; 2:3; 4:10; Titus 1:3; 2:10; 3:4). Jehovah is also Lord (1 Peter 3:15; Jude 1:4).
I find comfort in knowing that Jehovah is omnipresent; he is everywhere at once as we can see in 1 Kings 8:27; Psalms 139:7-12 and Jeremiah 23:23-24. It is not important where I am. Jehovah will always be there. I cannot hide from Jehovah, not that I would want to hide from Him.
I find peace in Jehovah’s purposes for my life. In Ephesians chapter one and Romans chapter eight, we can see some of the purposes of Jehovah for us who believe in Him. However, Jehovah’s knowledge is not limited to his purposes for us who follow Him. In 1 John 3:20, we read that Jehovah knows all things.
One of the purposes of Jehovah is for us to come to Jesus (Matt 11:28; John 14:6). We are to become witnesses of Jesus (Acts 1:8) because “there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:10). Jesus is our savior (Philippians 3:20; 2 Timothy 1:10; Titus 1:4; Titus 2:13; Titus 3:6). There is one Lord who is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:5). Jesus has so much in common with Jehovah.
I find much comfort in Jesus because of what He has in common with Jehovah. Jesus claims to be the First and the Last the Alpha and the Omega (Revelations 1:17; 2:8; 22:6-7, 12-13, 16-17, 20). Jesus and Jehovah have another thing in common; they were both pierced (Zechariah 12:10; John 19:37; Revelations 1:7).
There is another reason why Jehovah wants us to come to Jesus. It is because Jesus is our creator (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17). Since Jesus created all things, He cannot be created. Jesus could not have been created unless He created himself.
No matter where I go, Jesus will be there (Matthew 18:20; 28:20). It is so great to see in scriptures that Jesus and Jehovah have so much in common. I will always worship them (Luke 4:8; Matthew 2:2,11; 14:33; John 9:35-38; Hebrews 1:6).
Another great thing about Jesus is that he knows all things (John 16:30; 21:17). However, due to his human nature Jesus did not know when He would return (Matthew 24:36; Mark 13:32; Philippians 2:5-9).
Regarding the Holy Spirit, Jehovah and Jesus will send Him as another Comforter (John 14:16; 15:26). The word another in John 14:16 means another of the same kind by nature. It is great that the Holy Spirit has something in common with Jehovah. They share the same nature.
